'Bankside's Past in the Present' Exhibiton

New Refectory exhibition

Over the past four years residents and businesses in Bankside have been developing a new vision for the Bankside neighbourhood, which has been convened by Bankside Neighbourhood Forum.

This new exhibiton now on display in our Refectory cafe showcases a number of digital drawings and photographs by artist Adrain Chappell and photographer George Nicholson.  Many of these images depict Bankside's industrial past including the original Bankside Power Station.

The imagery and storylines derive from Bankside's changing industrial landscape from the late 18th century to the present day where the area is now a cultural hot spot for arts, food and tourism.

The exhibition is free and is on from 31 March to 4 May.
