Canon Michael Rawson was very pleased to welcome a group of ladies from the Ahmadiyyah Muslim Association to the Cathedral on the Feast of Epiphany. One of the group introduced the visitors at the start of the 11am Eucharist and afterwards members of the congregation were able to give them a short tour of the Cathedral highlighting important aspects of the Christian life and discovering those aspects which Islam and Christianity share.
They were also able to ask about the service - in particular they enjoyed the music which was unfamiliar to them. It is hoped this will be the first of similar visits.
The Ahmadiyah group was prominent in helping the community after the London Bridge attack in June.
